There is something about the season of Fall. As the leaves change color, and the air becomes crisp, it’s time to burrow into the home and rest after a fun-filled Summer. This year has been a long, arduous year for many; full of challenges and obstacles. I think many are ready for a season change, hoping for a circumstance change. Though we may not always have control of the events that occur in our lives, we can determine how we respond to them. I believe the Lord gives us season changes because it gives us a sense of anticipation and hope for the future. No matter where you are in life, you can always have hope! The harvest season has always been known for the bounty it brings, and I pray abundant blessings over your life this Fall.
So bring on the pumpkin spiced lattes, the hay bail rides, the pumpkin patch outings and the hot apple cider. It’s time to relish in the soon-to-be sweater weather and enjoy gathering with your beloved friends and family. Perhaps this will be a season of healing for us all in the comfort of our homes. I pray this season you create some new traditions and take time to have fun! Even if it means just getting your mind off world events for a simple moment.
