One of the most common questions I get asked is…
“where did you get your counter stools from and do you recommend any others?!”
Well today I am sharing the answer to this question, showing you splurge vs. save furniture for your home! I will say, people are often shocked at the price point of chairs. Quality chairs are typically a splurge item, and it’s important to know when to pay for the higher price. For example, if you have an open concept home with a beautiful kitchen island, your counter stools will likely be a stand out feature in your space. This is the time to splurge and find quality chairs that make a statement. When I design open concept kitchens, I typically add in the counter stool to the budget as a good chair can bring the design all together. After utilizing metals in the lighting, plumbing and hardware and stones for the countertops, I love choosing counter stools with a wood, woven or leather concept to soften the kitchen. It provides a layer of warmth on top of the colder materials. I also chose to feature counter stools with a backing, because most people like the function and comfort of them. Check out my recommended counter stools, below!
Wishbone Chair (3 Colors) – $311
Bailey Woven Chair – $287
I’m thinking of getting these same counter stools and wonder what size is your Island. Ours is 9’ and hoping 4 will fit.
I’M thinking about purchasing these stools for our new home and wondering the size of your island. Ours will be 9’ and hoping that 4 would fit comfortably. Thanks!
